First Year & Exploratory Engineering Students
All incoming freshmen and exploratory engineering students are advised in the Center for Student Excellence in 204 Weil Hall. First-year students participate in a range of workshops, programs, and individual meetings that foster personal, professional and academic excellence.
Students who are continuing with us from the previous year will continue to work with their current advisor.
Newly admitted freshmen (Summer B or Fall 2019, Spring 2020) should address advising questions to advising@eng.ufl.edu
In the Fall and Spring, Peer Advisors are also available for walk-in advising. For assistance with your 4-year plan or general questions, please stop by and meet with an Engineering Peer Advisor. They are available from 10:40 am – 2:45 pm Monday-Friday. Otherwise, please schedule an appointment with your assigned advisor.
