Dr. Luis Garrote is Full Professor of Hydraulic Engineering at the Technical University of Madrid. His research focus is the application of hydrological and hydraulic models in water resources planning and management, including floods, droughts, environmental constraints and reservoir operation, with special emphasis on dealing with uncertainties, particularly those connected to global change
