Abstract

Materials Science is the largest area of research in dentistry and is an important portion of the curriculum in dental schools. Attendees will receive an overview of current topics in dentistry that need work from engineers. Data will be presented from projects using finite element modeling and artificial intelligence to optimize the design of medical implants.
