Details

The L3 Harris Seminar Series hosted by the Engineering Innovation Institute brings together students and faculty from across the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering to hear about the role of an innovative mindset from those in industry or who have started their own ventures. Aspects of an innovative mindset include creativity, agility, inclusivity, analytical curiosity, empathy, collaboration, vision, courage, and experimentation. The seminar series allows students to make connections between their coursework and the real-world experiences of the speakers. We ask that speakers permit the seminar to be recorded for online students and for those with course conflicts, but we understand if company rules do not permit it. The seminar is open to any member of the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering (all majors welcome). Previous seminars averaged 50 students in attendance with attendees representing majors from various engineering disciplines.
