9th Workshop on Cognition & Control

We are pleased to invite you to the ninth Workshop on Cognition & Control, to be held March 26 & 27 at the University of Florida in the J. Wayne Reitz Union Chamber. Co-organized by Jie Fu, and Sean Meyn from the ECE Department, the workshop is sponsored by NSF and the UF Pittman Endowment.

The purpose of this meeting is to educate each other and the public, and to engage in discussion related to topics in control and “cognition” (which includes information theory and statistical learning). Speakers include: Ken Duffy (Northeastern), Muriel Medard (MIT), Jose Principe (UF), Vikram Krishnamurthy (Cornell), Prashant Mehta (Univ of Illinois), and more.

Attention students: A poster session is planned on Thursday at 3:30 at Reitz Union G310. Please send a message to all four below if you plan to bring a poster.
