Spring 2022 Commencement

All graduates and their guests should attend two ceremonies: the University Wide Commencement Ceremony and their Recognition Ceremony. Bachelor’s, master’s and specialist’s degrees will be conferred at the University Wide Commencement on Friday evening in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. 

  • Nearly 4,000 candidates for undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees will be recognized and celebrated throughout graduation weekend! Congratulations to our Gator graduates and their guests!
  • Events will take place on our campus this April 28th – May 1st.

Doctoral Recognition Ceremony

  • Date & Time: Thursday, April 28. 9am-11am.
  • Location: Stephen C. O’Connell Center.

University Wide Commencement

  • Date & Time: Friday, April 29. 7pm-9pm.
  • Location: Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

Bachelors Recognition Ceremony

  • Date & Time: Sunday, May 1. 2pm-4pm. 
  • Location: Stephen C. O’Connell Center.
  • Candidate Assembly: Gate 4 will open for candidates at 12:30pm. Candidates are required to wear regalia.
  • Guest Admission: Gates 1 & 3 will open for guests at 12:30pm. 
  • Tickets: At this time we do not anticipate ticketing nor restricting the per-grad guest count for this ceremony. However, if changes in CDC guidelines cause us alter these plans, we will inform our students and guests of any adjustments.

Masters Recognition Ceremony

  • Date & Time: Sunday, May 1. 7pm-9pm. 
  • Location: Stephen C. O’Connell Center.
  • Candidate Assembly: Gate 4 will open for candidates at 5:30pm. Candidates are required to wear regalia.
  • Guest Admission: Gates 1 & 3 will open for guests at 5:30pm. 
  • Tickets: At this time we do not anticipate ticketing nor restricting the per-grad guest count for this ceremony. However, if changes in CDC guidelines cause us alter these plans, we will inform our students and guests of any adjustments.
