K12 Gator Outreach Initiative
The Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering K12 initiative supports tomorrow’s technology leaders by promoting the success of pre-collegiate institutions and their students across the state. K12 programming will serve to accomplish the following goals:
- Provide a nexus of experiential learning activities and training opportunities targeting pre-collegiate teachers, guidance/career counselors, and students to enhance their technical skills required for academic and professional success.
- Promote pathways for self-exploration and awareness of STEM fields and career options,
- Mobilize university and community resources in efforts to promote the success of pre-collegiate students inside and outside of the classroom; and,
